With this summer’s UEFA European Championships on the horizon, the children are very excited about seeing their favourite teams and players in action on TV. And with that in mind, we were lucky to welcome Miguel, a Spanish primary school teacher and football player to the school last week. Miguel who hails from Madrid, had until recently played football in the 4th tier of Spain’s La Liga with Leganes. Now based in Ireland, he kindly volunteered his time and efforts to teach some Spanish soccer skills to the children and as you can see from the photos, this proved to be a big hit!
