We celebrated our 10th annual Sports Day on Thursday 20th June and thankfully the weather was kind to us. We also appreciate yet again the kindness and generosity of our neighbours and friends at Newtown Blues GFC who allowed our senior classes this year to hold their events at their football pitches. Our junior classes spent the morning in the school grounds and hall taking part in many activities and sports including parachute games, balance races, distance ball-kicks, target throws, basketball and our old favourite sack races.
Meanwhile, at the Newtown Blues, the senior students took part in penalty shots, athletics distance runs, javelin throws, tug of war and many other activities. A great day of sporting fun was had by all and especially for the Team Green who claimed the overall prize for the day.
