We held our first monthly assembly for the school year on Thursday this week and the honour of hosting the show went to our second class students and teachers Elaine and Orla. We had lovely words of what ‘Respect’ means for the students, the performance of the song, ‘School Rules’, and we had a terrific narration of the story “The Smartest Giant in Town” (Julia Donaldson) all rounded off by the lovely song “We Learn Together”.
Deputy Principal Des had some words of appreciation from teachers, students and the wider school community for our amazing team of Special Needs Assistants on the very first ‘SNA Appreciation Day’ and then Principal Pauline had the pleasure of calling out the names of our certificate winners for the month. All of the winners will attend the Principal’s Party tomorrow! Well done everyone! If only the rain would take a break!
