2nd Class, in celebration of Engineering Week, were invited to Scientific Sue’s Magical Science and Engineering Show in the DKIT on Thursday, 7th March. What fun we had!
A fantastic Magic Show, that was Harry Potter themed, with Scientific Sue showing the science behind each magic trick, helping us see the ‘importance of science and engineering in our everyday world’. Sue utilised the ‘science of spin to defy gravity, harnessed electric forces to make objects float and used magnets to cause items to spin’. Tour of the wind turbine at the DKIT was the icing on the cake!
