Because of a fall by one in numbers for the school bus, Bus Eireann have withdrawn the school bus service to Aston Village ETNS. This has only now come to our attention.
Our principal, John has phoned Bus Eireann and informed them that he has identified four more students who are outside of the 3.2 km limit and wished to avail of the service. He has been assured that the matter will be dealt with and he remains in contact with different parties in an effort to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Until the issue is resolved however, we must regretably inform you that there will not be a school bus service operating on Thursday 28th of August. In the meantime we ask and encourage all parents to contact their local politicians to air their concerns and help resolve this problem.
