Mindfulness in School.

All 5th and 6th class students completed the Paws.b mindfulness programme and Sarah’s 4th Class have just started the programme this week.
We have worked on some great lessons such as-Our Amazing Brain, Puppy Training, Finding a steady place, Dealing with Difficulty, The Storytelling Mind and Growing Happiness. We have some new skills and techniques that we can use at any time
to help us come into the present moment/settle ourselves/focus/notice our thoughts/make good choices/flourish/feel good.
Some students have reported using skills from Paws.b before school, before entrance exams, during/after an argument on the yard, on the sports field/track, dealing with physical pain, when worried.

Well done and thank you to teacher Orla and senior class teachers for introducing the programme to the senior students.
