This week we said “slán” to Seachtain na Gaeilge for 2025 and to mark this, we held a special Gaeilge Assembly in An Halla Mór with some special guests. Teacher Liz introduced us to her friends from her session music group and they played for us and joined with the student orchestra to provide us with some wonderful music and songs. Before we listened to the prepared songs from the other class groups, we had Deputy Principal Des and Teacher Paula presenting the children with certificates for their efforts using Irish during Seachtain na Gaeilge. Students who received certificates were then invited to the Principal’s Party on Friday afternoon with Principal Pauline. Well done everyone!
