Active School Week is now taking place and is extended through until Friday 4th May. The children have been given no written homework for this period of time and it is to be replaced with Active Homework!
Each class is having a mini gymnastics and taekwondo workshop with qualified instructors from Experience Gymnastics and Cosmos Tae Kwondo (Cosmo Tkd) this week. Both these clubs are based in Aston Village. You can check them out on Facebook.
The children are encouraged to walk or cycle to school if possible and to generally be more active!! The Super Trooper booklets have been going home with the children this week with great tips and ideas for helping your family to become more active and learn about healthier lifestyles. Watch out in the coming days for more news on the fun activities for Active Week in the school.
