Huge thanks to everyone who supported our fund-raising efforts this year for Coiscéim. All funds raised will be directed towards the ongoing development of our garden for children with special needs to fund the creation of an appropriate outdoor play area that is stimulating, engaging and safe for children with autism.
Mark O’Neill and Gary Hageman of O’Neill Landscapes, Clogherhead have been working to transform the garden over the last two months, much to the delight of children and staff!
Among those who contributed so kindly to our fund-raising were Tom Anderson and his musical friends of Drogheda’s Bagful of Songs who held a Bowie tribute night and raised  a very generous €300 towards the project. Fergus McDonnell of Fergus McDonnell Plastering Drogheda sky-dived for Coiscéim raising an incredible €1500 and local financial services company State Street made an extremely generous donation of €1000. Special thanks to State Street Vice-President and Drogheda man Cormac Bohan who helped us with this funding. Mums Sinéad, Pamela, Lisa, Nicola and friends ran in the VHI Ladies Mini-Marathon earlier this month in Dublin and raised the huge sum of over €1800!
