Our great eight aka ‘AV Checkmates’ did us proud at the finals of Ficheall in Simonstown Gaels CLG clubhouse today Thursday 21-3-24. It was a fun, enjoyable and challenging day requiring high levels of strategy, patience, guile and skill against tough competitors.
Thanks to Principal Pauline and Teachers Alicia, Gearóid, and not forgetting our friend John in China; and to Fiona, our super Bowhan’s bus driver who enjoyed the great singing all the way down the new road at Ballymakenny. And hoping ‘to win just once again that will be enough’. (Saw Doctors)
