Our sixth class children enjoyed their graduation today and there was much laughter, tears and all round quality entertainment on show as the school bid farewell to a memorable cohort of 22 children. Our school choir performed impeccably yet again under the guidance of Claire and Liz, we had the Bare Necessities from Áine’s class, rewritten words to Frozen’s “Let it go” by Maria’s Class, a very witty play by sixth class themselves, a Coldplay song by fifth class led by John, Naomi’s class telling us how to brush our teeth properly in a rap, Sandra Wogan’s class singing the praises of Mr. Sun, Senior Infants with a rann as Gaeilge, third and fourth casses offering some wise words and quotations of advice for the future and Áine put us all through our paces with fun calls and responses. There were also fine solo performances from Elizabeth (Maria’s Class), Nicholas and Precious (both Claire’s Class).
