On Thursday the representative from Barretstown arrived to collect the latest and largest batch of old batteries that we have been collecting. In all we had five full collection boxes and another overflow box due to the large numbers of batteries received from the community. The representative said that it was one of the largest collections from a school that he had received and he was very grateful. We remain a collection point for old/used household batteries so please remember this in your spring cleaning! We have new collection boxes located at reception!
