Our April Assembly theme was ‘Making a Difference’ and children from each class were selected to receive their certificates for doing just that this month. Their reward was to attend the much coveted ‘Principal’s Party’ in the afternoon. Well done to all of you and to everyone who didn’t get a certificate this month, keep up the great efforts and your turn will come.
Our Third classes with their teachers Sinead and Tasha, provided us with excellent entertainment with songs and drama to remind us of the importance of recycling. In particular, they demonstrated the use of the new bottle and can recycling machines we are becoming used to at various shops. By using them and other recycling and upcycling methods, we can all continue to make a difference in tackling environmental issues. Well done Third Class!
