Various classes have been busy this week making use of the Lego WeDo kits. The kits challenge the students to build robots & devices that they then control using code. And what’s more, the problems they are investigating are real world problems like “what structures should buildings be to best withstand earthquakes?” and “how can we solve the problem of plastics recycling?”

Also as part of codeweek.eu and other projects in the school, 6th class students have been busy building our VEX Robot which will become our entry into the VEX Robotics 2019  regional competition which will be held in Dundalk IT next year. As you can see, they have been making good progress.

Here are some pics of 2nd and 6th classes busy building and trying out their projects.
